A Review – Chic urban dining at The Glass Lounge

As far as date night goes, hubby is quite happy for me to choose where we go. It’s not that he doesn’t care where we go, but he knows by now that being the big foodie that I am, I’ll politely listen to his suggestions but will more than likely end up choosing a different place anyway.

Local Travel Is Lekker – Guest blogger feature on Tulips & Phoenixes

Gaynor is a South African Travel & Lifestyle blogger that enjoys going on local road trips and getaways within South Africa and showcasing all that this beautiful country has to offer.

She recently started a travel blogger interview series on her blog – Tulips and Phoenixes – called Local Travel Is Lekker (Lekker is a South African slang word for cool). With this fantastic interview series, she hopes to encourage S.A. citizens to explore more of their own country. And guess what? She asked to feature me as a Guest blogger. Yay me! 😉

We’re really fortunate living in the Western Cape as there are many fun day trips within easy driving distance of Cape Town, as well as beautiful weekend getaways that you can drive to within an hour or two.
