The relaxed setting is partially open-air with a view out across the beach or the infinity pool. Liesel and I fell in love with a local Mauritian wine called Takamaka, a lightly flavoured litchi Rosé wine that was delightfully fruity and went down a treat.

I could happily have stayed in a luxury Suite or Villa for a few days. The striking natural beauty, luxurious decor and attention to detail are extraordinary, the cuisine and wine exceptional. Oh, and the stunning infinity pool plays your choice of music which you can hear while you swim underwater!
